A Level Exam Results 2026

Students at Bilborough College are celebrating outstanding results again this year, rewarding the huge effort they have made over the last 2 years of study.

Bilborough College students recorded a fantastic 97% pass rate across all courses and within that there have been some stunning subject performances too. Across the board, 10 courses achieved a 100% pass rate and in one subject, A level Maths, 111 students achieved A*-A grades. The college’s achievement rates also rose again meaning more students are staying for the full 2 years as well as passing their courses. This means hundreds are now going onto fantastic destinations in higher education, degree apprenticeships and employment.

David Shaw, Principal at Bilborough College, congratulated students on their results.

He said, “On behalf of all Bilborough staff, I’m delighted that once again so many of our students have performed so well. It is great to see all the hard work, commitment and dedication rewarded with excellent results.”

“Everything we do at Bilborough is designed to build confidence, independence and skills and this can be seen in these outstanding results. We remain significantly above the national average for retaining students who start with us in year 12 completing their courses successfully.”

“We also heard this week from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) that our students are 2% more likely that average to achieve a first or a 2:1 at university and 4% more likely to continue into their second year at university and not drop out. This validates our approach of having a grown-up learning environment, where students are responsible for their learning with our support, so that they are ready for their next steps.”

“We wish our students all the best for their futures whether at university, on apprenticeships or in the workplace, knowing that they are well equipped for a bright future.”

The college has dedicated staff available every day right through to the start of term for advice and guidance around results, UCAS, and next steps for students. College is also ready to welcome its next cohort of students when our new Y12 enrolment begins next week on Thursday 20th August.
