Using one of our dedicated bus routes

We offer dedicated bus services to improve access for our students – you can download routes and timetable for 2017-18. Annual passes: information on the purchase of student bus passes will be given at enrolment.

Single journey tickets are available from Student Support £2.50 each way journey.

Nottingham College Link Service

Bilborough College Link is a service running from Nottingham City Centre to Bilborough College. Its timetable is designed to fit in with the start and end of lesson times and activities.

This service is available to Bilborough College students and staff only. A College Link pass (*£120 for the year) is available. Alternatively, single tickets can be purchased from the Student Support (£1 per each way journey). The service is free of charge if you hold a Bilborough College bus pass. We do not accept any other bus passes.  * prices reviewed annually.

See bus timetable above for the Link Bus timetables.

Derby Link Bus

We realise that not all students wish to stay in college all day and for enrichment on a Wednesday afternoon so the Derby Link is available on a daily basis. The Derby Link makes a journey into college and home again in time for the lunchtime break every day but Wednesday. The Derby Link does not run into college on a Wednesday – this is a homeward journey only.

To use the Derby Link students, need to have a valid ticket which cost £2.50 each way and is available from Student Support. If you hold a valid route bus pass this is accepted on the Derby Link on a Wednesday only (no ticket needed for route pass holders on a Wednesday). All other students require a ticket.

Please note that this an additional service with limited spaces, available on a first come first served basis.

Driving & Cars

As we are part of the Nottingham City Work Place Parking Levy Scheme we are not able to offer any onsite parking for students. Without prior arrangements there is no onsite dropping off/picking up of students. We would also ask that parents/carers/friends/driving instructors do not drop off/pick up students at the college entrance or the island directly outside the college gateway. The estates opposite the college operate resident permit parking only scheme which covers the whole of the estate including any private car parks.

Cycles and Motorcycles/Scooters

You are welcome to cycle to college. We do have secure storage for your vehicle, the code is available from the main reception on production of a current college ID. Please bring s sturdy ‘D’ lock to secure, take a photo & keep a record of the frame number of your cycle. Please ensure your cycle is covered by insurance.
