Getting here

Using one of our dedicated bus routes

We offer dedicated bus services to improve access for our students – you can download routes and timetables for 2017-18. Annual passes: information on the purchase of student bus passes will be given at enrolment.

Single journey tickets are available from Student Support Team (£2.50 each way journey).

Special College Link Service

Bilborough College Link is a service running from Nottingham City Centre to Bilborough College. Its timetable is designed to fit in with the start and end of times of lessons and activities.

This service is available to Bilborough College students and staff only. A College Link pass (£120 for the year) is available. Alternatively, single tickets can be purchased from the Student Support team (£1 per each way journey). The service is free of charge if you hold a Bilborough college bus pass. We do not accept any other bus passes.

See bus timetable above for Link Bus timetables

Derby Link Bus – Runs Wednesday only

We realise that not all students wish to stay in college for enrichment on a Wednesday afternoon so from September 2017 the Derby link will be making homeward journeys on a Wednesday only.

The Derby Link will not run any other day of the week. This service is free of charge if you hold a Bilborough College bus pass. Alternatively, single tickets can be purchased from the Student Support team (£2.50 per journey).

Please note that this is an additional service with limited spaces, available on a first come first served basis.

*Alternative ways to get into Bilborough College from Derby.

Public Transport

Local buses from Nottingham City Centre: R28 (Pink Line). R35 (Orange Line) & L2.

L2 stop is adjacent to the college campus and is only a 2-minute walk to the college main building.

28 & 35 both stop near to the college with a 10-minute walk to the college main building.

For further information we recommend using or for journey planning in Nottingham or NCT website.

Driving & Cars

As we are part of the Nottingham City Work Place Parking Levy scheme we are not able to offer any onsite parking for students. Without prior arrangement there is no onsite dropping off/picking up of students. We would also ask that parent/carers/friends/driving instructors do not drop off/pick up students at the college entrance or the island directly outside the college gateway. The estates opposite the college operate resident permit parking only scheme which covers the whole of the estate including any private car parks.

Cycles and motorcycles/scooters

You are welcome to cycle to college. We do have secure storage for your vehicle, the code is available from the main reception on production of college ID. Please bring a sturdy ‘D’ lock to secure, take a photo & keep a record of your frame number of your cycle. Please ensure your cycle is covered by insurance.

*Alternative ways to Bilborough College from Derby:
