Opportunity to teach a lot of 'A' level maths. Good impression of students and college. Commitment to teaching 16-19 year olds keen to learn higher level maths.
I researched into the college and instantly knew that this was the place I wanted to study, the music and biology facilities were better than other places I'd looked at. I also wanted to be at a college for the independent atmosphere.
Great college. Helps you become more independent. Great teachers.

I love being a part of the Bilborough College family and meeting so many incredible individuals that pass through on the way into their futures. I'm inspired by these young people every day - no day is the same!
A great environment to work in. A pleasure to help 16-18 year olds move from school to independent life.
Nice people, sister college to my school. Good extra curriculum activities.
Good atmosphere, students are fantastic. Very supportive colleagues - and I enjoy teaching A level.
The people who come to Bilborough are great, everyone is so much fun.
I love the vibrancy and energy of the College community. My role is supporting and empowering students to make their own decisions about their futures.
I came to Bilborough to meet new people and experience new things. Bilborough is so big you can never be bored. The teaching is excellent and the facilities are brilliant. The college can accommodate anyone and the career advice is excellent. I've grown so much as a person since coming here and I know next year I will continue to grow.
I needed a change of scenery—to surround myself with new people, in a new environment, and to study the subjects I feel passionate about. It's fabulous!
Bilborough had an excellent reputation, offered all the A levels I wanted without having to do a BTEC. It allows me to be creative and gives me a lot of support in what I'd like to do in the future.
The guidance and support helps to express myself and show my creative side in dance and art.
It's sort of like Hogwarts, except the magic is the people. Yeah, I have a way with words (thank my literature teachers).
A chance to leave the school environment behind, meet new people and improve your independent study skills.
It's close to where I live and has an excellent rep. It allows me to be myself and enables me to express myself freely which is an excellent attribute.
To inspire students to reflect on the key ethical issues of the twenty first century. To help students to fulfil their potential.
A wonderful refreshing place to work. I love working and helping whichever way I can with our students as they are so fantastic. Students love to come here and this makes our jobs easier.
Diverse - people from different backgrounds and has different beliefs. Friendly - everyone is accepting and non-judgmental.
I chose Bilborough because I wanted the chance to meet new people and try new things, I like the independent learning that Bilborough allows us to do. I enjoy being able to do different courses that I couldn’t do at school, and courses I enjoy. I think college is a great atmosphere and is something I really enjoy.
It's just got a great community feeling about it..like a mini university! The balance of help and independent study is perfect, preparing me well for the future
I find it really rewarding to support students and see how they have grown into inspirational young adults at the end of their time at college.
I love Art, I love teaching, and I love working in a college committed to embracing difference.
I work at Bilborough College because it’s a friendly environment. I like to help people and enjoy working with the young people helping them in their studies and student life.
Bilborough college offers a very wide range of course including the IB, which is an amazing course. The IB has allowed me to thrive at Bilborough College. The variety of enrichment opportunities is diverse. You can do things that you wouldn’t usually have the chance to, like Indian head massage. Out of the many activities that I have taken part in the one that I enjoyed the most was Leadership Academy. This allowed us to go into local primary schools and host PE lessons which was brilliant. There has been an opportunity to develop this further into a CSLA qualification. Leadership Academy has helped me to develop skills that will be especially useful for me within my future career as a Primary School Teacher.
Excellent science department, great opportunities for your future. From induction days I knew this is the place I want to be in.
Closest to get to. All friends going, easy to get to , transport, all the subjects, courses looked amazing, teachers were great.
It was a very supportive, academically focused college which focused on stretching students. Everyone is very friendly. You can be yourself. It was a step closer to university.
I felt I had the freedom to develop as an individual in a learning environment where I felt like I was being supported. Bilborough college gave me the opportunity and space to fulfill my goals. Literally, its one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
