Representative Teams

At Bilborough College we have representative teams in the following sports: Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Football, Men’s Football, Rugby, Netball, Women’s Hockey, Men’s Hockey, Cricket.

Other competitive Sports we offer are:

Badminton, Table Tennis, Swimming, Tennis, Cross Country, Golf, Trampolining, Volleyball._mg_9356

Training & Fixtures

Training – Monday morning during B-block – Training times & venues will vary (depending on your sport) you will be told in advance where your training will take place.

Fixtures – Wednesday afternoons – The leagues and cups we enter are a part of the AoC Sport/ ECFA. You will have both home and away fixtures.

_mg_9457Kit – Team Shirts/Kit will be provided for ALL team fixtures. However, Football, Hockey & Rugby players, you need to provide your own BLACK SHORTS & BLACK SOCKS.

Results and Fixtures – The college play in the Association of Sport (AOC) Leagues & Cups. Fixtures can be found on the fixtures live website.

National Teams Opportunity

At Bilborough College there are opportunities to represent the Association Of College (AOC) National Teams in Football, Netball & Hockey. This allows students that excel in their sport to compete Nationally & internationally against the best of the best, along with giving students the opportunity to the travel the UK & Europe.

The National Championship is an opportunity for you to compete against other college students from all over the UK. The Champs give you the opportunity to represent Bilborough College & the East Midlands region in your chosen sport.

Students qualify for the championships through regional tournaments that take place in the autumn term. Sports that are included are football, netball, basketball, hockey, badminton, tennis, rugby plus many more.

Enrichment gives you the opportunity to get fit, learn a new skill or gain a qualification. These are activities that take place every lunchtime and on Wednesday afternoons. The programme changes every half term, the idea behind enrichment is that you enhance your learning and of course have fun.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those of you wanting to get into Teaching, Coaching, Sports Development, Day Care or if you just want to get more involved in volunteering and working with young people.
