Drama and Theatre can lead into many careers because it shows employers evidence of creativity, research skills, teamwork, presentation skills, and confidence.
Q: What is the difference between drama and performing arts?
Drama and Performing Arts take a different approach to the industry today and can be taken together, and this is highly recommended if you want to work in the industry or teach.
Q: Is a career in the industry feasibly?
Many of our students go on to university or drama school. This is a vast industry, so many career paths area possible – we have a comprehensive system of career guidance, and links to universities and drama schools e.g. Fourth Monkey, Central, and many more.
Q: I love Drama but I want to do law or medicine. Will this stop me from doing that?
All professions value creativity and students have fed back interviews saying that Drama was often a clincher for them because of the key employability skills developed.
