Educational Visits

The BTEC courses focus on you gaining a real life understanding of Business – each year our BTEC Business students get the opportunity to go on fantastic trips to London and New York to see the business world in action!

Links with Employers

On the BTEC Business course we work with local employers to help students get a first-hand experience of the ‘real’ world of business. As part of one of our units, students will complete a project set and run by a local business, this gives our students a fantastic actual experience of how businesses operate, and this experience can be used to help University/Employment applications and references in the future.

Past BTEC Business students have gone on to study various Business related courses at University as well as gaining Sponsored Degree Apprenticeships at various local companies in areas including Buying, Finance, Accounting etc.
