Our Subject

This is 2 year course is equivalent to 1 A-Level and can be taken with either a BTEC Diploma, BTEC Extended Certificate, BTEC Subsidiary or A-level courses in other subjects.

Our BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma course provides learners with a broad foundation of knowledge about the ways in which the public services work.

Entry Requirements – 5 GCSE’s at C/4 or above including English and Maths.

Our links with HE

The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma course is good preparation for a career or study in public services, however it does not guarantee successful entry. Students can go on to study courses such as Criminology, Nursing, Fire and Rescue at University. Career opportunities include the police, fire service, and armed forces.
